Join an adventure into history with our next Exclusive Tours and Trails event on May 19, 2024! Exclusive Tours staff is teaming up with renowned artist and Cody local Mike C. Poulsen to bring visitors into the beautiful vistas and historic trails of the American West, including the astounding geological feature known as Castle Rock. 

With Poulsen as our guide, this Tours and Trails will traverse scenic paths that mountain men like John Colter traveled while exploring the Big Horn Basin and lands that would become Yellowstone National Park. 

This isn't just a walk; it's an interactive hike through time that will get your feet moving! Engage with your guides, ask questions, enjoy the views, and join a trek that brings history to life. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a nature enthusiast, this tour caters to all levels of expertise and covers 3.5 miles of walking with elevation gains of less than 500ft.

Calling all trivia fans, history nerds, and people who just like to have fun and drink good craft beer! The Buffalo Bill Center of the West Exclusive Tours and Cody Craft Brewing staff are teaming up to bring you an exciting night of  Exclusive Tours Trivia Takeover! 

Come out to Cody Craft Brewing (1732 Sheridan Ave Cody WY) on May 28th at 6pm to support Cody community members and test your trivia knowledge of Cody and Wild West history!

Go it alone or grab some friends, family members, or strangers off the street who look like they might know a thing or two about the American West. Cody Craft Brewing is family friendly, so the under-21 crowd are welcome to participate too. Educators: Join us on-site at the Center of the West for a professional development opportunity which will help you meet Indian Education for All Social Studies Standards. 28 Contact Hours = 2 Wyoming PTSB Credits or 28 Montana OPI Renewal Units.

During our on-site profesional developments, we connect with Indigenous knowledge keepers, develop a professional learning community, learn in the museum galleries, and earn professional development credit. You must be present for the entire duration of the course.

Fee: $45, lunches provided.

Attention young nature enthusiast: Join us for an unforgettable journey where students will learn to observe sketch, and document the beauty of our great outdoors Get ready to discover and embrace the natural wonders through the art of nature journaling!

Focusing on our senses of smell and sight, we will explore natural world around us. With active play and lots of games, students will start to appreciate the smells and colors all around. Fee $10/session

July 16, 17, 18 Ages 4-5 (10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.)

This preschool class is designed to engage and inspire young minds with art... outside. Activities will foster creativity with color, shapes, and textures. Active play will be incorporated into every lesson. Instructor Sarah Shearer. $30/student; $25/member

What's that smell? Oh, it is just our poopologist preparing to take k-2nd graders on an interesting and exciting journey involoving animal scats and tracks! I promise this one is going to be super stinkin' fun!

Join us July 29-August 1st, where we will be exploring the ecosystem of trout, mastering knots and casting techniques, trying our hands at fly tying, and embracing the ethics of responsible fishing. through interactive demonstrations and guided sessions, students will acquire the skills and knowledge to be proficient anglers. From reading the water to selecting the correct fly, and possibly even catching a trout, this program will give you the basics to get on the water. Get ready to reel in the excitment this summer!
