Purchasing a general admission ticket gives you entry to all five of the Center's museums for just one price, as well as current special exhibitions and programs specified as "included in regular admission." Tickets are good for two consecutive days.

Stroller Tours

Join other new parents for a culturally enriching experience to share with your child. Limited space available. Registration required. Free for members, $15 per non-member adult.

Geology Field Trip - Mesozoic Era!

During this trip, we investigate the over 200 million years when dinosaurs ruled the land and giant reptiles ruled the inland seas. Topics will include local Mesozoic geology as it relates to the petroleum industry; the extinction event that opened a world of opportunity for mammals; the greatest landslide in Earth's history; and the reign of the dinosaurs, for which the Mesozoic is probably best known. $65 for members and students and $85 for non-members. Transportation is provided. This field trip is limited to a maximum of eight people, so register as soon as possible to secure your spot.

 

IEFA Virtual Professional Development

Starts October 8th

Educators: Join us online through the Center of the West for a professional development opportunity which will help you meet Indian Education for All Social Studies Standards while also receiving Wyoming PTSB Credits. 21 hours = 1.5 PTSB credits or 21 OPI Renewal Units.

IEFA Content Intensive: Wind River Reservation

November 12-14th

Educators: Join us and Indigenous knowledge keepers viturally to identify content resources that focus on the Wind River Reservation, to engage with culturally responsive pedagogical practices, and analyze content resources and identify ways to incorporate them in to inquiry-based lesson plans.

Broken into three, 2 hour and 20 minute modules over the course of the week.

7 hours of contact time = 0.5 Wyoming PTSB credit or 7 Montana OPI Renewal Units.

$15 fee. Participants will receive $15 worth of resource materials upon completion of the course.
