Running Time: 3 hours
They're back and better than ever!
Join Exclusive Tours on February 22nd at 6pm for a Deluxe Tours & Toddies event, featuring Craig Johnson, author of the Longmire Series, and Danny Michael, Robert W. Woodruff Curator of the Cody Firearms Museum. They'll bring you on an unforgettable evening of history and intrigue as they talk about Johnson's 20th Longmire novel: First Frost.
Craig and Danny will blend the thrilling stories of Sheriff Walt Longmire with fascinating firearms history as they bring you back in time with Walt and Henry Standing Bear. As recent college graduates who enlist to serve in the Vietnam War, these western characters find themselves in quite a pickle near an abandoned internment camp on their way to report for duty.
Sybil Tubbs, Education Coordinator for the Heart Mountain Interpretive Center, will also join Craig and Danny during this evening's showcase to highlight these pivotal events in our Western history and how they crisscross with popular culture today.
During the evening's program, Danny will showcase original artifacts from the Cody Firearms Museum collection and Sybil will share stories about Wyoming's own internment camp. This evening program will include a Q&A session where participants can ask questions, your co-hosts can shoot the breeze, and we all dive into the Longmire Universe.
After the Q&A, guests can enjoy custom charcuterie and adult beverages. Participants can also get their Longmire books signed by Craig Johnson as the evening winds down. If you don't have your own copy of First Frost yet, you can find them at the Center of the West s Points West Market.
Spots are limited at this Deluxe Tours and Toddies event! Advanced registration is required.
Tickets to this event include access to the Cody Firearms Museum after public hours, an intimate Q&A gathering with Craig Johnson, Danny Michael, and Sybill Tubbs, the opportunity to handle historic firearms, food and drinks, and a book signing.
