The Raptor Encounter takes you behind the scenes and into the working spaces of the Draper Natural History Museum’s Raptor Team. Step into the mews where the birds live and relax, and discover the day-to-day care that keeps 12 birds healthy and happy.

Along the way, you’ll hear the history behind the Raptor Experience, gain insight into training techniques, feeding practices, and care routines, and connect with the personalities that make each bird unique.

And yes—this is your moment to meet one of our avian celebrities up close, with a photo to prove it.
