Our very first Buffalo Boot Scoot is riding into town on Saturday, April 25, 7:30-11pm on our Draper Mosaic Tile Map. 

Get ready for a Western-chic night packed with high-energy music from DJ Jeremy Camp, nonstop dancing, indulgent heavy hors d'oeuvres, table games, and an easygoing atmosphere that celebrates the heart and spirit of our community.  There will also be raffle items and a cash bar with drink specials.  You will receive one drink ticket and one raffle ticket with each event ticket purchased.

Your journey begins inside the Cody Firearms Museum, where your guide points out remarkable artifacts and hidden stories as the group moves towards the Bruce J. Levin Research Room, where guests can get hands-on with select artifacts before making their way through secure corridors to enter the Cody Firearms Museum Vault, home to rare firearms and collection pieces not currently on public display. Next, continue your journey into the McCracken Research Library Archival Vaults, where the original Winchester Repeating Arms Company records and factory blueprints reveal stories of innovation, craftsmanship, and the individuals who shaped the American West.

Exclusive Tours invites you to answer the call of independence and join us the afternoon before the Cody Firearms Museum unveils its major Arms of the Revolution exhibition. This intimate experience invites guests to hear directly from three leading experts who bring the weapons, evidence and pivotal moments of the American Revolution to life.

As part of this special program, guests will meet two of the exhibition's foremost authorities:

Erik Goldstein, co-author of The Brown Bess: An Identification Guide and Illustrated Study of Britain's Most Famous Musket. This full-color reference features photographs and an illustrated guide to markings and bayonets used by British forces.

Joel Bohy, co-author of Bullet Strikes From the First Day of the American Revolution, featuring forensic investigations tracing bullet impacts and artifacts along Battle Road from Lexington to Boston.

The afternoon will be hosted by Danny Michael, Robert W. Woodruff Curator of the Cody Firearms Museum who will offer an insider's look at the upcoming exhibition. Guests will also be among the first to view a featured artifact from the Arms of the Revolution exhibit and hear firsthand how these historians and curators uncover the stories hidden in muskets, markings, and battlefield evidence.

Following the program, Erik and Joel will be signing their books from 5:00-5:30 PM. Books will be available for purchase at the Points West Market inside the museum.

Tickets are $50 for members, $55 for non-members and include a personal invitation to attend the Members-Only Arms of the Revolution Exhibition opening from 5:30-7:30 PM that same evening. Each guest will also receive one drink ticket for the beverage of their choice at the opening reception.
